May

"Be Still and know that I am God".
This verse has been MY (Jen) verse for the past few months.  There have been so many things happening and I've felt God calling me to quiet my heart and be still.

We are in a Spiritual Warfare and we need Jesus!

Terre Hill Seniors came the first week of May.  They had school devotions, led out in cottage meetings, blessed us with beautiful singing, passed out tracts, and did many different jobs around the Limes.  We look forward to them coming, but make sure they make it to the airport in time to catch their flight back home:)

We feel that the pressure in the aircraft was not regulated right because there were several items that were bagged and re-bagged and they still exploded....literally exploded! Some of the suitcases had to be sprayed out with a water hose.

These are just some things that went on during the week...........

Story time...

painting.....

Hike up Mt. JaJa

stamping tracts.....

Playing with the children...

Cooking......(Brian and Margaret did an amazing job!)

Cleaning....Can't tell you how many buckets of filthy water they dumped out!

Squeezing into a bus to go on a picnic....

And here's my right hand helpers......Thank you ladies for all you did for me!
God bless you Seniors as you go out and share Jesus with others'!
Congratulations!

Bye!!!

A family picnic at a local park.

Euran went with our family to find a spot for our staff supper.  It was a great spot...minus the 'no-see-ums' or 'sand flies'.   The food and fellowship was great anyway!

A neighbor lady's daughter (Harmony) and Harmony's father.

And Morgan turned 2! She now decided she is too big to sleep in her crib, which is a moment Nicki has been waiting for since the day she was born.

Until next time!

April

Well, Easter was a long time ago.  Dry season has gone and we have lush green grass and trees again.  The gardens are planted and the mangos are in full season.

Our church sings at the Grand Anse Elderly Home every couple months.  We rotate with other places like the Poor House (people that can't afford to take care of themselves or have someone take care of them), Elizabeth Home (orphan children), Dorothy Hopkins Home (mentally handicapped), or an elderly person's home.

Our family treated the teacher staff with a Mystery supper.

Pastor John's were good at getting the church to go on hikes Sunday afternoons.  Euran found a nice big kite on this hike.

Pastor John and Rachel are a couple that have lived here for many years and can pick up where they leave off when they come for a short time.  They helped carry Marvin's load in leading the church and organizing the Faith Senior group.

After our short hike, we had a snack.

Monique stayed at our house while Sophia(Monique's sister) spent some time in the Kindergarten room.

I believe this was a farewell party for Pastor John and Rachel.  We made soft pretzels.

Some neighbor children we see every day.  Nicki is holding Princess.

A weekly chore!

This was a hike to the end of the runway.  Nicki and Jenarosa are anxiously awaiting the plane to fly right over their heads and hit the runway.

We said good bye to John and Rachel Brubaker.  They filled in here in the Limes for 2 months and helped get Dervin's settled in and oriented to Grenada.  It was just so good to have them here.
